Job summary

Workforce Solutions in Fresno, CA seeks an Assistant Dean to support the Dean in instructional and management duties for the Nursing program at the Workforce Development site. The role includes supervision of nursing activities, curriculum development, and collaboration with Human Resources.

Responsibilities cover planning, budgeting, policy implementation, student records, and coordination with clinical partners.

Qualifications

Current valid California RN license or license from the state where the site is located.
Master’s degree in nursing, education, or administration (or BSN with MSN enrollment).
Minimum 1 year teaching experience in nursing programs (pre- or post-licensure).
Minimum 1 year of continuous RN direct patient care experience or equivalent.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Excellent oral and written communication, commitment to diversity.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning, developing, managing, and evaluating all aspects of the nursing program.
Coordinate with clinical sites, calendars, and evaluations to ensure compliance.
Lead curriculum development and program policies in line with Board/accreditor rules.
Maintain student records, faculty/staff documentation, and program data.
Participate in committee work and student admissions/orientation.
Ensure timely program reports and compliance with safety regulations.
