AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Nursing Professional Development Practitioner to advance nursing practice through education, research, and evidence-based initiatives. You will collaborate with clinical teams to implement learning and practice changes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and the organization’s care goals.

The role emphasizes leadership in knowledge translation, patient safety, and professional development across the nursing staff in a thriving hospital

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of word processing, data management, email, and presentation applications.
• Effective professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development.
• Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to fulfill seven roles of the NPD practitioner.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS, OSHA) for professional specialty served.

• Pediatric Med Surg experience as an RN or NPD [Preferred]
• Experience in specialty area applying for [Preferred]
• Experience as preceptor [Preferred]
• Previous teaching experience in formal/informal settings [Preferred]
• 1+ years of experience as an NPD Practitioner [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• ANCC - Nursing Professional Development Certification (ANCC-NPD) [Preferred]
• Acute/Critical Care Nursing - Adult (CCRN)[Preferred]

Pay Range:

$71,385.60 - $132,787.20
