Job summary

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a tenure-track Associate Professor of Nursing Practice starting Fall 2027. This 9-month faculty position located on the Corpus Christi campus requires on-campus presence to support the college and university mission.

Responsibilities include teaching, conducting research, seeking external funding, and providing mentorship and student support, including advising and supervising DNP projects. Active service on committees is expected.

Qualifications

• PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current unencumbered RN and/or APRN license in Texas.
• Established program of research and a record of funded projects.
• Five years of experience at the Assistant Professor or comparable rank or higher.

Responsibilities

• Engage in teaching, research, and service as part of tenure-track responsibilities.
• Mentor and advise students; supervise DNP projects and student recruitment.
• Pursue external funding and disseminate research findings.
• Contribute to college and university committees and activities.
