Job summary

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing Education to begin as early as Spring 2027. This 9-month appointment is located on the Corpus Christi campus.

The candidate will teach, advise, mentor, and participate in program assessment, clinical placements, and curriculum development for BSN prelicensure programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current unencumbered RN License and/or APRN License in the State of Texas or eligible for licensure in Texas at time of hire.
• If APRN, current board certification is an FNP is required from AANP or ANCC

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and clinical courses for BSN prelicensure programs.
• Mentor and advise students and facilitate clinical placements.
• Participate in program assessment, accreditation processes, and curriculum development.
