The CAS coordinates staffing, communicates with nursing leadership, and promotes safe patient care while guiding staff development and interdepartmental collaboration. Requires RN licensure in CA, BLS, ACLS, CPI, and related experience.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred or in progress (may be in lieu of BSN)
• 3-5 years nursing experience
• 1 year management experience preferred in acute care
• RN license in CA valid at time of hire
• BLS, ACLS, CPI certifications required within specified timelines
• Fire Life Safety Training may be required in LA City within 30 days of hire

Aufgaben

• Manage nursing resources to support recovery processes per plan of care
• Maintain open communication to meet USC mission and priorities
• Ensure safety, patient satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility in staffing decisions
• Coordinate staffing needs and communicate significant events to leadership
• Coach staff to develop clinical, managerial, and leadership skills
• Perform other duties as assigned
