Job summary

Nivram Management is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations in a Chicago-area facility. You will support the Director of Nursing, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure adherence to quality standards and policies to empower staff and care for patients.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate RN with developing managerial and administrative skills, strong listening and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to an excellent on-floor workplace atmosphere

Qualifications

RN with managerial and administrative experience
Knowledge of KPI/KQI in patient care
Budgeting and financial reporting understanding
Healthcare regulatory knowledge and best practices
Willingness to stay current with changing nursing administration standards

Responsibilities

Help set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
Organize and coordinate admission, nursing and patient care procedures
Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high quality standards
Assist in controlling budgets and monitoring expenditures
Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
Manage record-keeping procedures
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
Report to upper management
