Job summary

The Lodge at Rocky Mount, part of SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing in a 115-bed facility. This role provides clinical leadership and supports the Director of Nursing, requiring at least one year of supervisory experience in long‑term care and a compassionate, multitasking approach.

Qualifications

Active RN license required
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care
Strong communication and leadership abilities

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Nursing and lead nursing staff to ensure high-quality care
Monitor compliance with Medicare/Medicaid requirements and address deficiencies
Coordinate care planning, discharge planning, and information flow between providers
Provide ongoing staff coaching, performance feedback, and training alongside the DON
Maintain infection control practices and antibiotic stewardship programs
Engage residents and families with regular, clear communication
Ensure continued regulatory readiness and up-to-date clinical practices
