Job summary

Bradford Health Services in Southaven, MS is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing and ensure high-quality patient care across facilities. You will oversee nursing staff, coordinate clinical operations, mentor personnel, and lead efforts to improve care delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal resource utilization.

This role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and drive for quality

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the United States.
• BSN degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate complex clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans and improve clinical outcomes.
• Monitor and manage nursing budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient operation of nursing services.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and patient safety initiatives to enhance care delivery.
• Address and resolve staff and patient concerns promptly and effectively.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for nursing personnel.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
