Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in ED care or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Complete 90 hours of classroom instruction in food service supervision. To complete within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge of health care issues, trends, regulatory compliance, and managed care.
• RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS are preferred credentials.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development and directs implementation of care delivery models to enhance patient, family, employee, and provider satisfaction.
• Provides 24/7 nursing services at assigned facilities.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in a safe environment with minimized medical errors.
• Ensures compliance with nursing practice acts and professional standards.
• Maintains a culture of safety and quality and ensures policy adherence and infection control.
