Job summary
Courtland Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Courtland, VA is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department and ensure quality care 24/7. You'll support the Director of Nursing, oversee staff performance, and promote a compassionate, safe environment for residents.
The role requires an RN with an active state license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of RN experience. You will help with policy development, compliance, training, and coordination with
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
- Graduate from accredited nursing program.
- Current State License as Registered Nurse.
- CPR Certified
- 2 years RN experience
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff including R.N., L.P.N., and CNA.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop, implement and update nursing policies and procedures.
- Assist with staffing to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Federal, State and Local agency surveys.
- Provide staff education and disciplinary guidance as needed.
- Maintain infection control and safety practices.
- Communicate with Residents, families and supervisors.
