Job summary

Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, IN, seeks a Nursing Administrator to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of nursing services. Reporting to the CNO, this role directs staffing, budgeting, policy implementation, and patient care quality across the facility.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as primary nursing decision-maker in the CNO's absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or 7+ years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a closely related field with a Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluation, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Prepares, monitors, and manages budgets for assigned departments.
• Leads the development, implementation, and administration of nursing care standards across units.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance programs.
• Represents nursing services on hospital committees and task forces.
