The University of West Georgia seeks a Federal Work Study - Nursing Student Assistant to support the School of Nursing at UWG Recruiting Location. This role is part-time and temporary, designed for enrolled nursing students eligible for Federal Work Study Funds.

Responsibilities include customer service, basic office tasks, and assisting faculty and staff with clerical duties. Candidates must be UWG students with at least 6 credit hours and a 2.0 GPA or higher.

Qualifications

• Current UWG student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours with GPA of 2.0 or higher that is eligible for Federal Work Study Funds.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 pounds and perform general office duties.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones professionally and transferring calls; positively representing the School of Nursing to visitors, students, faculty, and others.
• General typing, filing, and updating spreadsheets in Excel.
• Scanning, copying, and operating office machines such as scanners and fax machines.
• Assist faculty and staff with projects and other duties as assigned.
