Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Endoscopy Lab B Nursing Manager to lead the department and ensure exceptional patient care. You will oversee a high-volume Endoscopy service, drive quality initiatives, staffing plans, and budget adherence to support efficient clinical operations.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing bachelor’s degree, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Experience in specialized nursing and leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.
• Current RN license or equivalent acceptable by the State Board is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer before direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and values and advocate high-quality patient care and service.
• Lead system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development for efficiency.
• Oversee Endoscopy Lab operations with 25–30 FTEs across five procedure rooms.

Education

Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
• Leads a high-volume Endoscopy department encompassing 25 to 30 FTEs, five procedure rooms, and pre/post-op services

The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care. As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in area of specialty
• Certification in clinical specialty
