Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center is seeking a qualified nurse leader to guide the Continuing Care Center. The role requires CA RN licensure, supervisory experience, and a focus on regulatory compliance and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have a CA RN license and DSD certification or eligible within 30 days.
• Minimum 2 years experience in acute or post-acute care; 2 years supervisory.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Progressive healthcare experience with strong leadership.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality metrics.
• Basic computer competence and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing preferred; MDS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Continuing Care Center.
• Plan, organize, and develop staff; manage performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality care across services.
• Manage cost centers within budget; collaborate with medical directors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job type: Full Time, 7:30am to 4:00pm Shift: Days

The Manager has a 24-hour, 7 days a week responsibility to provide leadership for the Continuing Care Center. This includes planning, organizing, staff development, performance management, quality fiscal and information management, regulatory compliance, building and enhancing relationships through customer relations, and appropriate professional involvement. The Manager is accountable for the management of the cost center(s) within the established budget. The Manager will work closely with medical directors, the disciplines to develop services and ensure quality. Access to all Patient Health Information.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in acute or post-acute care
• Current California RN license
• DSD certification required or should qualify within 30 days of hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (maintain current at all times)
• Three (2) years clinical experience
• Current knowledge of the field, with evidence of ongoing continuing education
• Progressive healthcare experience including at least two years’ supervisory experience
• Basic computer competence
• Demonstrated competence as a leader/ previous management experience required

Preferred:

• MDS Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Master’s degree in Nursing
