Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking an RN Pre-Op/PACU Nurse Manager for a surgery center in Orange County, California. You will lead the Pre-Op and PACU nursing team and oversee the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care from admission through discharge.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Pre-Op and PACU nursing team at a surgery center in Orange County. In this role, you will oversee the overall functioning of the nursing department and serve as a hands-on clinical leader who sets the standard for quality patient care from admission through discharge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operation of the Nursing Department, including day-to-day unit functioning
• Assess, plan, evaluate, and ensure implementation of each patient’s care pathway to achieve identified outcomes
• Coordinate patient care from admission to discharge, applying critical pathways in line with the facility’s mission
• Provide leadership in delivering high-quality nursing care to all patients served by the department
• Maintain and demonstrate competence in assessing, treating, and caring for patients of all ages using a developmental perspective
• Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the designated skills for the position
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or BSN
• CPAN or CAPA certification preferred

Compensation and Benefits
