Job summary

Jefferson Community College is seeking LPN Clinical Adjunct Instructors to teach all levels of nursing, including Medical Surgical, Mental Health, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics. Campus work location varies by class assignment.

This is a part-time position for the fall semester 2026. The Nursing Department seeks qualified instructors to provide clinical lab experiences, simulation activities, and on-site facility hours.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing with a minimum of two years’ experience in the Nursing.
• Must have an unrestricted unencumbered KY Nursing License or compact state License to practice nursing in the state of Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Teach clinical activities including lab hours, simulation activities, on-site facility clinical hours.
• Attend mandatory meetings for the program, grading clinical assignments and use of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback.
