Job summary

The Renley at Woodholme Gardens in Pikesville, MD is hiring a licensed LPN/LVN to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. You will administer medications, collaborate with care staff, and help deliver quality resident care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of nursing assistants per current regulations governing the facility.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Provide written and oral shift reports and recommendations.
• Ensure adequate medication and supply inventories; report needs to the supervisor.
• Communicate with pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Prepare patient charts and perform general office tasks.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities include:

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
