The University of New Mexico-Valencia is seeking a Lecturer II or III in Nursing for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment beginning January 11, 2027. You will teach the ADN core curriculum, schedule courses, supervise labs, coordinate clinical training, and analyze student progress data to support outcomes.

The position includes office space, computer hardware/software, and a comprehensive benefits package. Summer teaching is possible with additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
• Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach ADN core curriculum and supervise labs.
• Collect and analyze data on student progress.
• Act as clinical resource and advisor for program students.
• Assist in recruitment, hiring and evaluation of faculty and students.
• Coordinate and conduct clinical training across sites.
• Maintain attendance and scholastic records; manage office hours.
• Participate in curriculum development and outcomes assessment.
• Contribute to college committees and community service.
