Job summary

Kadima Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Manager to oversee 24-hour nursing coverage and staffing in a Pennsylvania facility. You will assist the DON in determining staffing needs and supervise the nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and compliance with Medicare Skilled services rules.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, a nursing degree, and has 2+ years of supervisory experience in long-term care or hospital settings. BSN is preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate 24-hour nursing coverage in the facility.
• Assist the DON in determining staffing needs of the nursing service department.
• Monitor staff education and conduct in-service training as necessary.
• Develop work assignments and schedule duty hours for nursing staff.
• Delegate to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the authority to perform duties.
• Supervise admissions and readmissions for Medicare Skilled services eligibility/denial.
