Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Nursing Lab Assistant who will support AdventHealth University nursing labs. You must be enrolled in AHU's BSN or ASN program and have completed at least one trimester, maintaining good academic standing. BLS CPR certification is required.

The role involves setting up and cleaning nursing labs, maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and ensuring safety. This is a PRN, on-site position in Orlando, FL with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in AHU undergraduate nursing program (BSN or ASN).
• Must have completed first trimester as a nursing student at AHU.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, break down, and clean up for all nursing lab activities.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure items are calibrated and in good working order.
• Store, receive, and stock equipment and supplies; assist with lab inventory.
• Organize and maintain clean and safe laboratory and storeroom environments.
• Ensure equipment is properly signed out and returned.

Job Description:

• Must be a current AdventHealth University Student **Must provide class schedule

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv must be enrolled at Advent Health University in undergraduate nursing program (BSN or ASN) [Required]
• High School Grad or Equiv must have completed first trimester as a nursing student at ahu [Required]

Field of Study: Must be a second-year Nursing student at AHU.
