Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College is seeking a Nursing Laboratory Coordinator to lead the nursing teaching laboratory, overseeing scheduling, equipment, and supplies for the nursing program. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of clinical experience or an Associates degree with 3 years of clinical experience.
• LPN, RN, or EMT certification.
• Healthcare Simulation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing laboratory including scheduling, supplies and equipment for the nursing program.
• Assist with organization of laboratory activities.
• Serve as a resource and technical support for faculty for all equipment, software and patient simulators.
• Purchasing of supplies and equipment for the nursing program with approval and review of budget with Director of Nursing.
• Organization, set up and take down of student laboratory experiences.
• Equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Maintenance of laboratory supplies.
• Management of student software study resources.
• Transportation and lifting of equipment including heavy mannequins and supplies.
• Perform assigned duties aligned with TMCC mission and goals.
