The Practical Nursing Instructor will be responsible for performing all aspects of instruction for the program, including planning lessons, updating syllabi, and maintaining an engaging classroom and lab environment. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a minimum of three years of full-time RN experience, and a current Georgia RN license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Three years of full-time RN experience within the last seven years.
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate license.
• Teaching or clinical instruction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs courses in the Practical Nursing program according to schedule needs.
• Develops and updates syllabi, lesson plans, and materials for each course.
• Maintains a safe, well-organized lab and classroom environment.
• Assesses student performance and provides feedback for learning outcomes.
• Maintains program and course standards and participates in staff development.
