Job summary

Central Wyoming College invites applications for an instructional nursing faculty role tasked with creating an innovative learning environment inside and outside the classroom. The position emphasizes teaching classroom, lab, and clinical components and requires collaboration to develop syllabi and assess student learning.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN with three years nursing experience and Wyoming licensure; a master's in nursing is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution; must submit an approved education plan and complete a graduate degree within five years.
• Three years of nursing experience with preference for direct patient care.
• Unencumbered Wyoming nursing license or licensure within two months of hire.
• Wyoming driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS Instructor Certification or ability to complete upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom, lab, and clinical components of nursing courses.
• Collaboratively develop a concept-based syllabus in team-based formats.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate course records and enter final grades.
• Utilize instructional technologies to enhance learning.
• Support distance education delivery and outreach students.
• Promote program recruitment and professional development.
