Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as a registered nurse in Texas.
• Master's degree in nursing or Master’s degree plus 6 graduate hours relevant to clinical area.
• Must be eligible to teach clinical courses at affiliate sites.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate skill and knowledge in teaching discipline.
• Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting to assess outcomes and improve teaching and learning.
• Develop and use a syllabus for each course and submit to the department chair.
• Plan and use diverse, innovative teaching methods and materials.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit reports on time.
• Review textbooks and learning materials.
• Teach courses at various times/locations to meet needs of the program.
• Demonstrate competence with technology in the classroom.
