Blue Ridge Community College is seeking a full-time, 9-month Nursing Instructor. The two-year Associate Degree program is designed to prepare students educationally as contributing members of the health care team, rendering direct patient care as beginning practitioners of nursing in various health services facilities. The Associate Degree Nursing Program at BRCC is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing (VABON).
Blue Ridge Community College’s Nursing Program consistently surpasses NCLEX pass rate benchmarks set by the VABON. This accomplishment reflects the commitment of its dedicated faculty, the strength of its curriculum, and the hard work and perseverance of its students.

This position includes instruction focusing on client care across the lifespan. BRCC delivers a concept-based curriculum which offers faculty the opportunity to teach a variety of content. This position includes clinical and simulation instruction. Didactic and lab instruction are not a part of this position.
Candidates selected for interview will need to facilitate a teaching demonstration as part of the interview process.
