Job summary

BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel is seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator to lead clinical education and professional development programs for nursing and clinical team members. This role supports orientation, implements evidence-based education, and collaborates on quality improvement initiatives within a full-time schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN with clinical experience or a healthcare-related degree with nursing education background, including ED or ICU exposure.

Qualifications

• BSN with 3 years of clinical experience.
• OR a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field with 4 years of nursing education experience.
• ED or ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates clinical education and professional development programs.
• Conducts needs assessments and applies evidence-based educational strategies.
• Supports orientation and ongoing development of clinical Team Members.
• Serves as a clinical and educational resource to direct care staff.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and change management.
• Performs appropriate RN functions and other duties as assigned.

Provides education and professional development to support the clinical competence and growth of nursing and clinical Team Members. Assesses learning needs, develops and leads evidence‑based educational programs, supports new hire orientation, and promotes clinical excellence in alignment with the ANPD Scope and Standards of Practice.

Your Role Within the Team:
