Job summary

Pride Health is seeking an experienced RN – Nurse Educator in Bronx, NY to support clinical education and professional development. You will deliver the current curriculum, conduct clinical follow-up with orientees, and oversee certification programs. New curriculum development is not required.

The role requires a Master’s in Education, NY RN license, and BLS certification, with ICU/critical care experience strongly preferred. This is a full-time on-site position based in Bronx, NY 10464.

Qualifications

• Experience in perioperative, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing.
• Previous Nurse Educator or clinical education experience preferred.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced RN – Nurse Educator to support clinical education and professional development within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise and experience in nursing education, with ICU/critical care experience strongly preferred.

The Nurse Educator will be responsible for delivering the current curriculum, conducting clinical follow-up with orientees, and overseeing certification programs. Candidates are not required to create or develop new curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and teach the existing nursing curriculum.
• Provide clinical follow-up and support for orientees.
• Oversee and coordinate certification programs.
• Support staff development and ongoing clinical education.
• Apply strong clinical knowledge and expertise in patient care.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and leadership to support educational objectives.
• Ensure educational activities align with established clinical and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education – REQUIRED
• Active New York State RN License – REQUIRED
• AHA BLS – REQUIRED
• Experience in perioperative nursing, critical care nursing, and/or medical-surgical nursing.
• Strong clinical expertise.
• ICU/Critical Care experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience as a Nurse Educator or in a clinical education role.
• Experience working with orientees and certification programs.
