Southern State Community College in Ohio seeks a Nursing Faculty member to teach across classroom, lab, and clinical settings, while contributing to curriculum development and student advising. Master Degree in Nursing or a plan for completion required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required if master degree in nursing not completed. Expert level of medical/surgical nursing practice required. Two-years of clinical nursing experience as a registered nurse, during the past five years, in the area instruction will be provided is required. Five or more years’ registered nursing experience is preferred. Previous experience as a licensed practical nurse or expert level of knowledge of the licensed practical nursing scope of practice is desired. Applicant must successfully pass required background checks in accordance with Southern State Community College's policies and procedures and applicable laws. Ability to document identity and employment eligibility as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
Valid and non-restricted registered nurse licensure in state of Ohio
