This home-based position requires a Registered Nurse license in North Carolina and a strong nursing background. Recruitment Range: $59,732 - $85,846
The Nursing Home Surveyor (Nurse Consultant I) position involves regulatory activities to determine compliance of nursing homes with federal and state requirements through inspections.
This is a home-based position servicing Alexander, Allegheny, Ashe, Avery, Caldwell, Catawba, Davie, Iredell, Surry, Watauga and Wilkes counties. The Nursing Home Surveyor spends an average of three days per week in nursing homes conducting inspections. Occasional inspections may occur on weekends and night shift. Although management attempts to schedule inspections within a region, the consultant should expect overnight stays when the nursing home is greater than 60 miles from their home base.
