Job summary

STG International is seeking a Security Director to develop and implement security policies to safeguard a nursing home facility. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, supervising security staff, and responding to incidents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security management or law enforcement, preferably in healthcare settings.
• Experience managing and supervising security personnel in a secure facility.
• Knowledge of security principles and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations.
• Supervise and lead security personnel to ensure compliance with standards.
• Respond to security alarms and incidents.

Skills

Management and supervisory experience as a sworn law enforcement officer

Knowledge of regulations in nursing care facilities

Strong leadership ability

Communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to deal tactfully with personnel and residents

Education

Member in good standing with NASW and ACSW
