Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' maintenance experience.
• Nursing home experience required.
• HVAC certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and related systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Licensed in accordance with current standards and codes.
• English language proficiency (read, write, speak).
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance Department.
• Develop and maintain written maintenance policies and procedures.
• Assist staff in development and use of department policies, equipment, etc.
• Review policies and job descriptions annually for revisions.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments.
• Provide written or oral reports to the Administrator as required.
• Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.
