Qualifications

• Previous healthcare or long-term care dietary experience is preferred
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including diet orders and menus
• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and physician orders
• Communicate effectively with the director of dietary services
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure meals are timely, accurate, and satisfying
• Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
• Duties as assigned
