Job summary

Ryders Health Management seeks a licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead a Stratford skilled nursing facility. You will drive resident-centered care, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee clinical, financial, and operations with a team-focused, quality-driven approach.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, foster staff development, and maintain survey readiness while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• NHA license in CT or eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• AIT program completion and licensure exams as applicable.
• 2–5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state regulations and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all facility functions.
• Direct, supervise and support department leaders and staff.
• Develop and enforce facility-wide policies and procedures.
• Ensure staffing levels and departmental coordination.
• Oversee daily operations across clinical, financial and support services.
• Lead QAPI initiatives and corrective actions.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Develop and manage the facility budget and resources.
