Job summary

Avardis Health is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of The Oaks Rehabilitation and Health Care, ensuring safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and develop policies that improve resident outcomes and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds an active NHA license, has at least three years in long-term care leadership, and excels in planning, budgeting, and team development.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered active Nursing Home Administrator license in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years in long-term care or skilled nursing facility leadership.
• Demonstrated skills in management, planning, budgeting, marketing and quality improvement.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Compassionate, driven and resident-centered professional.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations to ensure safety, efficiency and resident-focused care.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement policies to improve care quality and operational efficiency.
• Lead and support staff, fostering teamwork, respect and excellence.
• Provide ongoing education, mentorship and leadership development to facility management.
• Recruit, hire, and orient/train staff for facility programs and services.
• Manage budgets and financial performance with fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
• Establish financial and programmatic goals and conduct annual evaluations of goal achievement.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and the community.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in resident care and facility operations.
• Maintain and guide policies/procedures to comply with corporate, state, federal and other guidelines.
