Job summary

The Administrator at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Cozad is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare administration in skilled nursing/long-term care.
• Valid state Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong leadership, financial, and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Manage facility operations, staff, residents, and maintenance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure CMS/state regulations and standards compliance.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, evaluate staff; foster professional environment.
• Financial Management: Oversee budget, expenses, revenue; implement cost controls.
• Quality Assurance: Develop quality improvement programs for resident care.
• Resident Care: Monitor care quality and address concerns.
• Strategic Planning: Develop plans for growth, improvements, and outreach.
• Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, maintain records, coordinate with agencies.
• Communication: Serve as primary contact for residents, families, staff, and regulators.
