Job summary

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Nursing Float Pool. This full-time (0.90 FTE) night shift (1830-0700) position offers the chance to work across multiple hospital units and expand clinical skills while making a meaningful impact.

You will provide hands-on care, support mobility and daily comfort, take vital signs, and communicate changes to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Washington State is required.
• Current BLS certification by AHA or ARC on hire.
• At least one year of CNA experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care throughout the hospital.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, and daily comfort needs.
• Take and document vital signs and patient observations.
• Monitor patients and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with treatments within CNA scope.
• Document intake/output and other patient information.
• Keep rooms stocked, safe, and ready for care.
