Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Nursing Faculty member to educate and mentor the next generation of nurses. This role emphasizes full scope of the academic nurse educator, including learning facilitation, assessment, curriculum development, and program evaluation.

You will lead and participate in scholarly activity, act as a change agent, and collaborate with colleagues to advance nursing education and patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the applicable state per nursing board.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required; BSN considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Use assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and program outcomes.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Lead and participate in professional development and scholarship activities.
• Function as a leader and change agent within the educational environment.
