Job summary

Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) invites applications for a Nursing Faculty member within the School of Health Sciences. The selected candidate will deliver dynamic clinical and classroom instruction, participate in curriculum development, and mentor a diverse student body pursuing ADN and LPN-to-RN pathways.

The role emphasizes inclusive teaching, collaboration with college and external partners, advising, and engagement in program assessment and grants to advance nursing education.

Qualifications

• Hold a current, unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Master’s degree in nursing required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate preparation in teaching and learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and clinical instruction.
• Teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester (fall and spring).
• Advise students and support their academic and professional growth.
• Assist in recruitment and retention of nursing students.
• Collaborate with four-year institutions and healthcare partners.
