Job summary

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) seeks an experienced nursing faculty member to deliver high-quality instruction and to evaluate student learning across assigned courses. The role emphasizes curriculum development, classroom and clinical supervision, and collaboration with department colleagues.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an Arkansas RN license, and has clinical nursing experience; MSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current unrestricted RN license to practice in Arkansas.
• Clinical nursing experience required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• TB/CPR documentation and immunizations required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and evaluate student learning for all assigned classes.
• Develop course curriculum, handouts, labs, and presentations.
• Maintain FERPA-compliant student records and grades.
• Be available to students via email and office hours, communicating expectations to students and supervisors.
• Participate in college service, program development, and ongoing professional development.
