Job summary

Education: MSN required; DNP or PhD required; active RN licensure. Minimum five years’ direct patient care and three years teaching experience. Compensation is paid per course, depending on education and number of students.

Qualifications

• RN with 5+ years direct patient care experience.
• Minimum 3 years teaching in the nursing field.
• MSN required; DNP or PhD preferred.
• Active nursing licensure and state regulations compliance.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, role model and provide academic support for students.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and student success.
• Teach according to assigned schedule and contribute to course assessments.
• Engage in curriculum and materials improvement within governance guidelines.
