Nursing Faculty Opportunity

Tallahassee State College invites applications for the position of Nursing Faculty – P09125 in the Healthcare Professions Division. The role requires a commitment to academic excellence and a vibrant campus community.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain high academic standards and teach current, relevant curriculum while communicating content effectively.
• List teaching assignments and reassigned time assignments (provided by administrator).
• Provide instructor syllabi that comply with Policy 05‑12.
• Grade accurately, reflecting student achievements of learning outcomes; grading should prioritize learning assessments over attendance or behavior.
• Teach classes at assigned times and keep compliant with the schedule; maintain office hours as approved each semester.
• Maintain and report accurate records of attendance and grades required by state, federal law, and college policy.
• Assess and revise curriculum to ensure relevance: review course objectives, prepare or revise master syllabi, select resources and learning tools, and develop new courses as needed.
• Contribute to college services, including committee participation, student orientation, recruitment, and advising.
• Engage in professional development by developing individualized plans for innovation in instruction, curriculum, or service.
