Job summary

Saint Vincent College is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Nursing to lead medical-surgical education and clinical placement coordination. The role emphasizes teaching across the nursing program, curriculum development, and scholarly engagement.

Qualifications

Current (unencumbered) license as a Registered Nurse and/or APRN in Pennsylvania.
National certification upon hire or within 2 years of eligibility.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing practice.
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in higher education or healthcare settings.
Ability to teach in classroom, clinical, and simulation environments.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses focusing on medical-surgical nursing and related topics.
Develop and revise curriculum to align with evidence-based practice and accreditation standards.
Supervise and evaluate students in clinical placements, skills labs, and simulation.
Serve as ATI champion and coordinate ATI integration across the curriculum.
Design faculty orientation and training on ATI tools and testing processes.
Standardize student remediation workflows and NCLEX preparation for senior students.
Monitor student performance data and intervene to support at-risk students.
