Mills Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our team as an Educator in a warm, supportive long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in rehabilitative and nursing practices preferred.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care for residents.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, residents, families and external partners.
• Commitment to teamwork, positive work culture and high-quality resident outcomes.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing services.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident care services for a comprehensive care plan.
• Assess staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage and high-quality care delivery.
• Assist with employee scheduling and oversee staff assignments.
• Ensure direct nursing care is delivered by qualified personnel.
• Monitor and review clinical documentation including nurses' notes for completeness.
• Lead in-service education programs and training materials development.
• Establish goals and structure for staff development and continuing education programs.
