Tulane University Program of Nursing in New Orleans seeks a full-time nurse educator for a hybrid BSN program. The appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level at Tulane University School of Medicine, depending on experience.

The candidate will develop instructional materials for med/surg nursing, teach at the collegiate level using active learning, participate in curriculum development, and contribute to program and School of Medicine initiatives.

Competenze

• Eligibility for a Louisiana RN license.
• DNP or PhD degree in nursing with consideration given to related fields.
• 4 years of clinical experience in med/surg nursing preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Mansioni

• Develop instructional material in a hybrid format for BSN-level courses.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate effective teaching at the collegiate level with active learning strategies.
• Advise students on academic curricula and contribute to scholarly activity.
