Ponce Health Sciences University - St. Louis seeks a non-tenure track faculty member for the College of Nursing to teach in area(s) of expertise, provide service to the school of nursing, and advance teaching, scholarship, and service.

The role requires maintaining appointment rank and engaging with students on campus; remote work may be negotiated with the Dean. The ideal candidate holds a graduate nursing degree, Missouri RN licensure, and at least two years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing; or graduation within 6 months.
• Unencumbered RN license in Missouri (compact state).
• Two+ years of RN experience.
• Effective interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach in area of expertise using evidence-based methods (classroom, clinical, lab, simulation).
• Contribute to curriculum evaluation and alignment with standards (AACN, ANA, QSEN, NCLEX-RN).
• Collaborate with leadership to select and evaluate clinical sites.
• Assist in admissions, retention, and graduation policy development.
• Maintain on-campus office hours to support students.
