Job summary

Keiser University in Florida is seeking an experienced nursing instructor to deliver education services to students through courses, labs, and clinical sites. You will prepare course plans and materials, deliver courses, monitor progress and attendance, and actively advise students to support their success.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred), and an unrestricted Florida RN or APRN license with full-time practice experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing; Doctorate preferred.
• Current unrestricted Florida RN or APRN license.
• Full-time nursing practice, minimum 2 years.
• Full-time teaching experience, minimum 2 years preferred.
• Experience with learning outcomes assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course plans and materials.
• Deliver courses.
• Monitor progress/attendance.
• Advise students.
• Record grades and submit reports.
• Fulfill faculty duties of instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical sites.
• Meet credentialing requirements compliant with state licensing agencies and regulatory boards.
• Participate in program, institution and community activities.
