Job summary

Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, Virginia, seeks a full-time, 9-month Nursing Faculty. The program prepares students for direct patient care as entry-level nurses in diverse health settings and is accredited by ACEN and approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing.

The position includes didactic, clinical, lab, and simulation instruction across the lifespan with opportunities for scholarly engagement and community service.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with current enrollment in an MSN program.
• Current license or multistate licensure privilege to practice nursing in Virginia as a registered nurse, unrestricted and undisciplined.
• Two years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse.
