Job summary

Joyce University seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to lead faculty development, oversee the preceptor program, and ensure program compliance. You will partner with the Associate Dean of Nursing to strengthen teaching, clinical education, and student outcomes.

The role emphasizes mentoring, curriculum oversight, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accreditation standards and high-quality learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Professional nursing license in the applicable specialty.
• Doctoral or professional degree in nursing.
• 2–3 years of online and on-ground teaching experience.
• Knowledge of nursing education and academic leadership.
• Ability to mentor and develop faculty.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop nursing faculty, including onboarding and performance reviews.
• Own the preceptor model across undergrad and grad programs and manage credentials.
• Support curriculum development, evaluation, and evidence-based teaching.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, and external partners to improve learning outcomes.
• Represent Joyce University in regulatory and accreditation activities.
