Job summary

St. Charles Health System seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator, RN, to develop and implement education that supports evidence-based nursing interventions across patient care, nursing practice, and organizational systems. You will collaborate with leaders, educators, and clinicians to deliver education, monitor compliance, and advance professional standards while promoting quality outcomes in a family birthing center setting.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of registered nursing clinical experience in area of specialty.
• Three (3) years of experience as a unit-based educator or similar position.
• Lean principles knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of nursing practice in the specialty.
• Provide leadership and clinical expertise within interdisciplinary team.
• Create education for nursing staff and deliver education via unit-based educators.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Advance nursing practice through evidence-based interventions and professional standards.
