Job summary

Northbridge University is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Instructor at Kissimmee Campus to deliver and evaluate nursing courses, mentor students, and contribute to program development. You will align instruction with the curriculum, use diverse teaching methods, and manage blended class schedules.

Required MSN (or Doctorate preferred), Florida RN license, and 3+ years of clinical nursing plus 2 years teaching.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited program; Doctorate preferred.
• Active and unrestricted RN license in Florida.
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical nursing practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an accredited nursing program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate courses across the nursing curriculum.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies including lectures, simulations, and case studies.
• Mentor students through clinical experiences and skill development.
• Update course materials and calendars in collaboration with program leadership.
• Support program development, assessment, and policy initiatives.
• Stay current with nursing practice trends and ongoing professional development.
